An internationally renowned GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Authorized Master Trainer, Sebastian Plettenberg has conducted Gyrotonic teacher trainings throughout the world. An award-winning choreographer, Plettenberg received his ballet training at the National Ballet School in Germany and danced with many ballet companies throughout Europe. Plettenberg’s many clients include ballet dancers from the American Ballet Theater, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and Boston Ballet, as well as professionals from Broadway and Olympic athletes. Plettenberg, who has gained renown as an expert working with many types of physical injuries, serves as director, owner and Authorized Master Trainer of Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis methodology at GYROTONIC® Manhattan Inc. He is also authorized to teach the training courses on the Specialized Equipment, and is assisted in the GYROTONIC® Manhattan studio by a dedicated and experienced staff that includes two Authorized Master Trainers and nine Certified Trainers.
