A Miami native, Don Friedewald graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance degree. Since moving to New York City, Friedewald has danced professionally as a ballet and modern dancer. Having spent many years training in a gym, Friedewald discovered Gyrotonic exercise as a whole new approach to achieving balance and strength. Friedewald completed his Gyrotonic Pre-Training with Jackson Kellogg and Teacher Training with Authorized Master Trainer Sebastian Plettenberg. This amazing movement system has led Friedewald to a much deeper understanding of the body and he is excited to share this with others as a teacher at GYROTONIC® Manhattan.
